PMTA acknowledges that the training experience and successful knowledge transfer is largely dependent on not only the theoretical knowledge and experience of the trainer, but includes aspects such as:
Our trainers subscribe to these principles!
- The genuine enthusiasm that the trainer has for the subject under discussion.
- His or her genuine desire to help and support delegates to be the best they can be.
- The ability to connect with delegates on all levels - from the absolute novice to the experienced veteran.
- The ability to make complex concepts simple to understand.
- The ability to create a safe environment for the group to open up and become actively engaged in the discussions.
- Friendly and (brutally) honest in dealing with other people.
- Understanding and respecting the differences in personalities and cultures.
- Being patient and persevering, as Thomas Edison said “Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”
